Waitrose launched a new podcast called ‘Dish’, featuring Nick Grimshaw and Angela Harnett. The task was to ideate and flesh out a podcast thumbnail that represented the playfulness in topic but also to show the new, younger demographic of Waitrose. The predominant consideration was to have design and photography working in harmony. Creating the composition involved; image selection of hands and of the hosts, and experimentation with Waitrose colour palettes and typefaces. Working in unison with the client, photographers, retouchers and stylists, we created a podcast artwork which invites consumers to listen to their engaging audio content.
